Alcide Basso founded the company in Rossano Veneto, Italy in 1977. Today, under the leadership of his son Alessandro, Basso manufactures the highest quality carbon frames entirely in-house in Italy — a rarity in the modern cycling industry.

What makes Basso truly unique is their dual expertise: the same facilities and carbon fabrication techniques that produce parts for Formula 1 and World Rally Championship vehicles are used to build your bicycle frame. This level of quality control is unmatched.
